Australian-born and Sydney-bred, I moved to Hong Kong in 1994 and spent over two decades capturing its layered contradictions — the ancient ladder streets of Sheung Wan and Central set against towering steel and glass monoliths. Hong Kong became my creative springboard into Asia and the wider world.

Striking hotel photography demands knowing how to work with both the built environment and the subtleties of the human form to convey a luxurious experience and an aspirational lifestyle. To that end, I am fortunate to work with the world’s top hotel groups including The Langham Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Group (Ritz-Carlton, St Regis & Westin), Rosewood Hotels and of course the IHG group. Hand in hand photographing hotels comes working with great chefs in fabulous restaurants and using my keen eye for detail and composition I strive to create beautiful photos from stunning dishes. Joel Robouchon, Alain Ducasse and Gordon Ramsey are just a few of the renown chefs and restauranteurs I have had the pleasure to work with.

As a former architect, I am able to intuitively engage with architects and designers in bringing their projects to life in the photographic realm. Speaking the same language puts me in the same creative space as my clients. I aim to combine my distinctive, graphic, evocative style and considered composition and lighting with expert photo retouching skills to create finished work that is engaging and authentic.

That’s how I live. That’s how I work.

While I’ve traveled the world and worked with clients ranging from global corporations to boutique brands, my focus has remained consistent: to deliver creative work that solves problems, exceeds expectations, and endures. I believe that great results come from great collaboration — challenges are shared, solutions are collective, and the reward is work that resonates.

And when the job is done, I return home — to the people and place that inspire me most.
